Obituary

Mrs. Louis (Anna M.) Lorban (sic/Orban), 83, died at Floyd Valley hospital, Le Mars, Wednesday, June 16 after an illness of several months.

Anna M. Vondra was born Oct. 29, 1887 at Kieler, Wis., the daughter of Norbert and Katherine Kirchberg Vondra. Her marriage to Mr. Orban took place Feb. 12, 1923 at St. Joseph church, Lincoln township. Her husband preceded her in death a month ago on May 17.

She came to the Le Mars vicinity in 1889 with her parents.

Funeral services will be at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic church in Le Mars with Rev. John Turza officiating. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Le Mars, under direction of the Luedtke funeral home.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Friday. The parish rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Friday.

Survivors are a brother Charles and a sister Dora both of Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by her husband and by her parents; a brother Lawrence and a sister Mrs. Elizabeth Baldes.
