Mrs. Theresa Kraus, 80, of 309 1st St. SE, died Jan. 19, 1974, at Sioux City’s St. Vincent hospital after a one day illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Joseph Catholic church in LeMars with the Rev. Msgr. Dean Walker officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home.

The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Kraus, the former Theresa Majerus, was born Oct. 30, 1893 at LeMars.

She lived at LeMars all of her life until moving to the Holy Spirit retirement home, Sioux City, four months ago.

Survivors include three grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a son.
