Mrs. Strub Succumbs To An Attack Of Heart Failure
Mrs. Strub, wife of Frank Strub, died very suddenly at her home near Struble yesterday morning from heart trouble with which she has been affected for some time. Mr. and Mrs. Strub awoke about 5 o'clock and were talking together before they arose about buying a piece of land in Minnesota. While engaged in the conversation Mrs. Strub gave a gasp and expired almost immediately. She had been a sufferer from heart trouble for some time.
Mrs. Strub was a native of Germany, her maiden name being Margaret Bauer and was about sixty-nine years of age and with her husband had lived in this county for the past twenty-five years. Besides the bereaved husband she leaves three sons to mourn her loss. They are Frank and Anton, of this vicinity, and Max, who lives in Minnesota. She was married to Frank Strub forty-four years ago in Clayton County and seven children were born to them, four of home have proceeded her and death. They came to Plymouth county in 1885 and resided west of town in Washington township for several years before moving to their present location near Struble. The funeral will be held on Saturday at St. Joseph's church in Struble in the interment made in the Catholic cemetery at this place where some of her children are buried.
