John Peter Feller, 9, died Tuesday at Sacred Heart hospital of Leukemia. He had been in failing health the past six months, and entered the hospital two weeks ago.
The son of Mrs. Leonard Betsworth, he was born in LeMars June 21, 1945. He was a third grade pupil at Gehlen grade school.
Funeral services will be held at 9:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic church Thursday, Sept. 16. The Rt. Rev. Msgr. J. D. Fisch will officiate, and burial will be in Calvary cemetery. The body will be at the Wiltgen-Luedtke funeral home until service time.
Surviving are his mother and step-father, Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Betsworth; one brother, Robert; a sister, Darlene; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Leo Dominick, of LeMars.
He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Feller.
