Death of Mrs. Will Keet

Mrs. Will Keet died at her home in Shickley, Neb., on Tuesday, of pneumonia. She had been ill for weeks but her condition was not regarded as dangerous until Monday when a telegram was received here, by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nic Wilmes, asking them to come at once. Mrs. Wilmes left on the early morning train on Tuesday but arrive too late to see her daughter alive. Her death is a great shock to the family as the members were happy in the belief that she was growing better and stronger and were anticipating a visit from her, that she might rest up during her convalescence.

The remains were brought to Le Mars on Wednesday night and the funeral will be held at St. Joseph's church in this city at ten o'clock this morning. The deceased name was Katherine Wilmes and was born at St. Donatus, Iowa, thirty-nine years ago. When a girl she came with her parents to Plymouth county. She was married in September, 1887, to Fred Coddington, who died in June 1900. She was married a year ago to Will Keet, of Shickley, Neb. She leaves one daughter, Florence Coddington, aged 14 years.

Mrs. Keet had many friends in and around Le Mars, who will be sorry to learn of her death and who will offer condolences and sympathy to the family.

The bereaved husband, Mr. Keet and her twin sister, Mrs. John Thoma, of Shickley, accompanied the remains to Le Mars and attended the funeral. Her other brothers and sisters reside in the city.
