SENEY: (Special Correspondence)
The sympathy of the community is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rees in the loss of their twin sons, who passed away suddenly on Sunday morning. Funeral services were held in the home of Mrs. T. J. Rees on Monday, Rev. T. C. Batho officiating and interment was made in the Seney cemetery.

Transcriber Note regarding the death of the infant twins of Mr. & Mrs. Kenneth Rees.
In the family collection of diaries, documents, etc. there has been found a Thank You Card for sympathy.
The Rees couple wrote on the back of the card, the following:
Tommy and Tony Rees died March 21, 1937. Buried March 22, 1937.
Pallbearers: Willie Olson, Vernon Ewin and Wesley Lancaster, Raymond McArthur.
Singers: Harriet Hawkins, Bonnie Lancaster, Alberta Null, Cleone Rees.
Song’s Sung: Precious Jewels and Jesus Loves Me.
The minister was Rev. Batho.

Another Family Note: One of the pallbearers, Vernon Ewin (who was only the age of 12 at that time in 1937) always told the story as it being the first time Vernon was ever pallbearer for any funeral. Vernon said the two caskets were both tiny. All four of the pallbearers were approximately the same age, all related in some way to the family of the twins.
