Harry A. Schipper

Harry A. Schipper, 96, 214 First Ave. NW, died Friday, Jan. 8, at Floyd Valley hospital after a short illness.

Mr. Schipper operated a dray serviceand was a member of the Le Mars police and fire departments.

Funeral services were Monday at 2 p.m. at the Luken-Johnson funeral home with Rev. Milo Morris officiating. Burial was in the Le Mars Memorial cemetery.

Mr. Schipper was born Feb. 14,1875, in Le Mars. He married Fay Garner April 2, 1955, at Torrence, Calif.

Mr. Schipper resided in Le Mars until 1955 when he moved to California. He returned to Le Mars in 1962.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 12 brothers and sisters.

Survivors are his wife Fay of Le Mars.
