Marion J. Robbins

Marion James Robbins, 87, of Gravola Mills, Mo., died Tuesday, Feb. 13, 1996, at the Laurie Nursing Home in Laurie, Mo.

Services will be 7 p.m. today at the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Laurie, with the Rev. James Truwin officiating. Masonic services will follow, conducted by Versailles Masonic Lodge 320 AF & AM Visitation, with the family present, will be 6 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, Akron, Iowa with the Rev. Flemr officiating.

Mr. Robbins was born Dec. 9, 1908, in Sac County, Iowa the son of James O. and Essie (Bailey) Robbins. He married Pearl F. Erickson Sept. 6, 1934. He was district salesman for Sioux Tools in Sioux City, where be worked for 40 years.

Mr. Robbins was a member of the Kent Memorial Lutheran Church in Sunrise Beach, Mo., the Blue Grass Masonic Lodge 956 AF & AM of Lexington, Ky., and the Oleika Shrine in Lexington.

Survivors include his wife; a son, James A. Robbins of Erlanger, Ky.; a daughter, Janice Kennedy of Sunrise Beach, and five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
