WILLIAM E. NASON
William Edward Nason, 78, a retired Plymouth county farmer who resided for many years in Hancock township died Sunday in a hospital here after an illness of a week.
Born November 5, 1867, in England, he came to the United States and Plymouth county at the age of 8 years. Until retiring he farmed north of Sioux City. He remained on the farm, however.
Survivors are the widow, Minnie; two sons, Mowbray of Sioux City and Clayton of Vallejo, Cal.; Mrs. Neva Dennison of Westfield, Ia.; five brothers, W. S. of Sioux Falls, S. D.; Joseph of Stevens, S. D., and Henry, Albert and John, all of Westfield; a sister, Miss Anna, also of Westfield, 10 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
The body was taken to the Westcott-Doughty-Chandler funeral home.

Funeral services for William Edward Nason, 78, retired Plymouth county farmer, and resident of Hancock township for many years, who died Sunday in a hospital here, will be held at 2:30 p.m. today in the Westcott-Doughty-Chandler chapel. Burial will be in Logan Park cemetery.
Pallbearers will be C. P. Knapp, Howard Pike, O. D. Jones, Carl Olson, Amos Ross and Oscar Nystrom.
