Adolph G. Papritz

Adolph Gustav Papritz, 89, Chicago, a former Akron resident, died Friday (April 20, 1979) at a Chicago hospital after a brief illness.

Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Schroeder funeral home. The Rev. David J. Roy officiated. Burial was in Riverside cemetery.

Mr. Papritz was born Jan. 7, 1890, in Hamburg, Germany. He moved with his parents to America at age 3 and to Chicago at age 25. He lived at Akron for a time. He married Vera Bartz on June 5, 1939 in St. Albins, Va.

He was an engineering draftsman for Western Electric until retiring in 1954.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Jack (Audrey) Farrell of Arlington Heights, Ill.; twi sisters, Mrs. John Willer of Brunsville and Mrs. Floyd Nelson of Haden Lake, Idaho, and two brothers, John of Upton, Wyo. And Frank of Williamsburg.
