MRS. NANCY LUDWIG
Mrs. Nancy Ludwig, 72, or 1571 Blff street, died at 12:55 Sunday afternoon in Mercy hospital after being seriously ill since Friday, although she had been aIling for the past year.
The body may be viewed at the Didesch funeral home arter 7 o'clock Monday night. Funeral services will be held from Didesch's to St. Patrick's church Wednesday morning at a time to be announced later, Burial will be in Mount Calvary cemetery.
Born in Remsen. la.. July 5, 1873, a daughter of the late Michael and Caroline McCray Knewel, she formerly lived in Lamotte, moving to Dubuque about 10 years ago. She was a member of St. Patrick's church and the Rosary society of that parish.
Survivors are her husband, John B. Ludwig; two daughters, Mrs Cletus (Leona) Young, Denver, Colo.. and Mrs. Leo (Eldora) Ehlinger, Dubuque; three sons, Joseph Ludwig. Oakland, Calif..Henry Ludwig. Dubuque, and Sgt. Lawrence Ludwig, U. S. army. Okinawa ; 14 grandchildren. and one great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters. and three brothers.
