PETER [PAUL] NEYERS DIES AT NEW ULM, MINN.
Was Former Resident of This Community. Burial Took Place Friday.

Paul Neyers, one time resident of this community, passed away Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at St. Lorreta's hospital, New Ulm, Minn., after a few month illness. Mr. Neyers had been suffering with gland trouble for the past two months. He was 66 years old, and leaves to mourn his death, a wife [Margaret Arens] and eight children. One sister lives in Germany and one brother survive him.

Mr. Neyers formerly farmed near Remsen and about 12 years [ago] [1919] moved his belongings to a farm near Sleepy Eye Minn., where he lived up to the time of this death.

Mr. Neyers was a devoted husband and father. He was a man of chirstian character, and a member of St. John's society.

Funeral services were held Monday morning at 9:30 from the Catholic church at Sleepy Eye, Minn., and interment was made in the Catholic cemetery of that place. Rev. Father Wenth officiated.

Homan, Mr. and Mrs. [Elizabeth (Lizzie) Arens] Mike Gengler, Mr. and Mrs. [Kathryn (Katherine)(Katie) Arens] James Kinney and son Joseph, Mr. and Mrs. [Theresa Mai (Rotesch) Rodesch] Charles Arens, Mr. and Mrs. [Unknown] Ben Plather, Mr. and Mrs. [Unknown] John Pottebaum, Mrs. Ferdinand Mousel [Unknown], Mrs. Wm. Wolf [Unknown], of Salem, S.D.., Mr. and Mrs. [Margaret (Kinney) Kenney] Frank Arens and daughter Eileen, of Tripp, S.D., Mrs. Phil Lichter [Anna (Annie) Arens], Mr. and Mrs. [Unknown] Frank Lenertz and Mr. and Mrs. [Unknown] Peter Kontz and son Arnold of Elkton, S.D.
