C. Clarence Clarey
Charles Clarence Clarey, 44, Central Valley, Calif., an Akron native, died Thursday (Nov. 16, 1978) at Mercy medical center at Redding, Calif., after a brief illness.
Funeral services were at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 18, at the McDonald Redding chapel. Rev. Michael Turner officiated. Burial was in the Redding Cemetery under the direction of the Redding funeral home.
Mr. Clarey was born May 6, 1934, at Akron and attended the Akron school. He served in the air force and then he moved to Los Angeles where he attended barber college. He had barbered the last nine years at Anderson, Calif.
Survivors are his wife, Rosalie; three children, Danny, Cindy, and Bonnie of Pomona, Calif.; two grandchildren; his father, E. Clifford Clarey, Akron; five brothers, Tom, Bill, and Rob, all of Akron; Jim of Sergeant Bluff and Cliff of Covina, Calif.; and four sisters, Mrs. Mary McIlvenna, Mrs. Gerd (Phyllis) Ludwigs and Mrs. Irene Jensen, all of Akron, and Mrs. Estill (LaVonne), Henry, Covina, Calif.
