Mrs. R. Totman 1908-1951
Mrs. Robert R. Totman, prominent LeMars wife and mother, died Saturday, April 28, at Rochester, Minn., where she had been a patient at the clinic. She was 42 years old and had been sick about two months.Constance Margaret Collins was born in LeMars on December 11, 1908, the daughter of Margaret and W. O. Collins. On June 12, 1928, she was married to Robert R. Totman. She lived her entire life in LeMars with the exception of two years in California, and was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church and its organizations.
Surviving are her husband Robert, her daughter Carol, and her parents, Mr. & Mrs. W. O. Collins, all of LeMars; also four brothers, Wayne and Robert Collins of LeMars, Harold and Maynard Collins of Long Beach, Calif., and one sister, Betty Karl, of LeMars.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 2, at the First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Rev. Frank Patterson will officiate and burial will be in the City Cemetery.
Mauer’s funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
