Mrs. Rosa Olson Was Plymouth County Native
Mrs. Rosa Olson, 75, a Sioux City resident the last 31 years died Friday morning at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.
Mrs. Olson, the former Rosa Diediker, was born Aril 27, 1889 in Plymouth County, and she was married to Hans M. Olson November 24, 1909 in Sioux City. They lived on a farm in Plymouth County for several years before moving to Sioux City in 1933.
Survivors include the widower; two sons, George and Melvin, both of Sioux City; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Janson of Sioux City; three brothers; George Diediker of Ponca, Nebraska and Herman Diediker and Emil Diediker, both of Sioux City; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Barr of Sioux City; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
