HOLD LAST RITES FOR LITTLE GIRL
Death Comes to Marjorie Josephine Huls Last Thursday, July 12

The home of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Huls, four miles south of town, was plunged into deepest sorrow on Thursday, July 12, 1934, at 12:20 p. m., when their little twin daughter, Marjorie Josephine, died from the effect of scalds sustained the previous forenoon. Mrs. Huls had just set a pail of hot water on the floor, when the child stepped backward and sat down in it. The little one was hurried to the Akron Hospital, where everything humanly possible was done for her relief, but all without avail, and death came to relieve her sufferings.

Marjorie Josephine Huls was born September 14, 1932, and attained the age of 1 year, 9 months and 28 days. She is survived by her parents and a twin sister, Margaret Christina Huls. To them is extended the sincere sympathy of the community in their bereavement.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in Immanuel Lutheran Church, conducted by Reverend W. E. Smith, of the Plymouth Presbyterian Church, in the absence of the pastor. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.

Their many friends here extend sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Chris. Huls in the loss of their little daughter, Marjorie, who was fatally burned in an accident last Wednesday.

Condolence is extended to Mr. and Mrs. Chris Huls in the death of one of their twin daughters. The funeral was attended by a large group of neighbors as an expression of their sympathy.
