William Fissel Dies At Long Beach
Well Known Resident Here Many Years

Peter Fissel of this city was notified of the death of his brother, William Fissel, 80, at a sanitarium in Long Beach, Cal., Friday. Mr. Fissel had been in failing health for the past two years and suffered a stroke last week.

William Fissel was born at Manitowoc, Wis., in 1862, and when four years old came with his parents to Plymouth County. He farmed, in Hungerford township for many years and later lived in Le Mars. For the past twenty years he had lived most of the time in California, making frequent visits in Le Mars where he had many friends.

Besides his brother, Peter Fissel, of this place, he leaves a sister, Mrs. Rose Winter, of Aberdeen, S. D., and a large number of nephews and nieces.

The remains will be brought here for burial and funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at the Mauer funeral chapel
