HERMAN F. BREMER DEAD AFTER LONG ILLNESS AT AGE 63

Herman Fredrick Bremer, 63, of 215 4th St. NW died Sunday at the residence after three years of illness. He had been a Le Mars resident since 1948.

Born March 26, 1899, at Remsen, he moved at the age of one year with his family to Delmont, S. D. He returned to the Le Mars vicinity in 1920 to farm and retired to Le Mars 14 years ago.

He married Jennie Mulder Oct. 20, 1923 at Sioux City. She survives, as do a daughter, Mrs. Odie (Mary Anne) Herbst of Merrill; two sons, Arnold and Herman Jr., both of Le Mars; 13 grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Chamberlain of Le Mars, and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdinand Albert and Marie Weisenborn Bremer, a sister and five brothers.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. John’s American Lutheran church, with Rev. L. L. Bell; and Rev. Robert. Floy officiating. Burial will be in the city cemetery under direction of Manor's funeral home
