Note: His wife's maiden name is Johnson.

Henry C. Marbach, the well-known proprietor of the general store at Ruble, this county, passed away Wednesday afternoon, December 11, 1918, of pneumonia, after an illness of about a week. He is survived by a wife and five small children. Mrs. Marbach is also ill of influenza at the present time. The sympathy of a wide circle of acquaintances and friends goes out to the bereaved family.

Funeral services will be held tomorrow (Friday) at the Akron German Lutheran church, and interment made in Riverside cemetery.
