Miller Services Held Sunday P.M.
M. Miller Succumbed Following A Brief Sickness

Funeral services were held on Sunday, January 25th, for a former Le Mars resident, Melchior Miller, who passed away Thursday at St. Paul, Minnesota, where he was making his home. Rev. H. O. Thompson officiated at the services which were held at 2:30 at the Evangelical United Brethren church in Le Mars. Burial was in the Le Mars City Cemetery under the direction of Mauer's Funeral Home.

Melchior Miller was born in Switzerland on February 15th, 1861. He was married in 1887 at Baltimore, Maryland, to Miss Elizabeth Goetz. They came to Plymouth county in 1902 where Mr. Miller was an auto mechanic and welder until his retirement. Mr. Miller was 86 years, 11 months, 7 days of age at the time of his death.

Surviving are five children: Edward of Le Mars; Mrs. M. E. (Marie) Goff, St Paul; Mrs. Felix (Huldah) Weidenfeller of Coleridge, Nebraska; Mrs. Ray (Anna) Sullivan of Sioux City; and Mrs. Ray (Mildred) Mischler of Washington, D. C. Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife and one daughter, Lena.
