LEO WEIDENFELLER WAS RESIDENT HERE 5O YEARS; RITES WERE HELD MONDAY

Funeral services for Leo A. Weidenfeller. 57. Le Mars resident 50 years who died Friday at his home after several years of illness, were at 2 p.m. Monday at the Mauer funeral home, with Rev. C. A. Amos officiating. Military graveside services were conducted by Wasmer post, American Legion at the city cemetery.

Mr. Weidenfeller was born on Nov. 28. 1894, in Johnson township near Le Mars. He spent his entire life here except for seven years at Mission. Tex., and a short time at Norfolk, Neb. He was a veteran of world war 1 and a member of barracks 1507. Veterans of World War 1. and the Eagles club.

Survivors include the widow, Jessie of Le Mars; a sister, Mrs. Katherine Petersen of Omaha. four nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Emma Eulberg Weidenfeller, two sisters and three brothers.
