Mrs. Clara Frolkey

Mrs. Rex (Clara) Frolkey, 85, lifetime Plymouth county resident, died Wednesday at Floyd Valley hospital after a week's illness. Her home was at 30 Second Ave. NW. She had resided at the hospital for 16 months.

Clara Erickson was born on April 20, 1883, near Le Mars. Her parents were the late John and Mary Davidson Erickson. Her marriage to Rex Frolkey took place on April 2, 1923, at rural Le Mars. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at United Presbyterian Church of Christ. Rev. James Ransom will officiate and burial will be in Plymouth Presbyterian church, rural Akron, under the direction of the Mauer funeral home in Le Mars.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Veatrice Guzzi, Riverside, Calif, and a son, Nathan Frolkey, Sutherland; eight grandchildren, and a great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, who died Sept. 30, 1929, and by two sisters. She was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of Christ.
