Louis H. Roepke

Louis H. Roepke, 72, 4037 Van Buren St., Sioux City, died Monday at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael Catholic Church with Rev. Richard Sitzmann officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Neptune, under the direction of the Anderson funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Roepke was born on Sept. 21, 1897, in Plymouth county.

Survivors are his wife, Mary; four daughters, Mrs. Don (Anna Marie) Stull of LaMirada, Calif., Mrs. Henry (Mary) Towle Of Vienna, Va., Mrs. Paul (Betty) Bock of Hinton, and Mrs. Jary (Kay) Lester of Sioux City; two sons, James of St. Louis, Mo., and Leo of Omaha; a sister, Else Roepke of Sioux City; three brothers, Frank of Sioux City, Henry of Hinton and Ed of Kingsley; 24 grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
