Funeral services for Mrs. Cyril F. (Jay) Montagne, 65, 23 W. 17th St., will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday at St. Jean Baptiste Catholic Church. Rev. Donavan Mulert will officiate. Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery at Jefferson, S.D., under direction of the Larkin Funeral Home.

Mrs. Montagne died Monday morning at a Sioux City hospital after a two-month illness.

Mrs. Montagne, the former Juliette Allard, was born Feb. 26, 1901, at Jefferson, S.D., and was married to Mr. Montagne in April 1920, at Ellendale, Iowa. She had resided in Sioux City the last six years.

Survivors include the widower; three daughters, Mrs. Dwildas Kovarna, of Hinton, Iowa; Mrs. Eileen Kovarna of Merrill, Iowa; and Mrs. Lila Thompson, of Sioux City; three sisters, Mrs. James Kuta and Mrs. Gordon Gary, both of Sioux City, and Mrs. George Woelfel of Sioux Falls; two brothers, Orice Allard of Sioux City an d Oscar Allard of North Sioux City; 10 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
