MRS. MINNIE VANSTEENWYK
Mrs. Minnie VanSteenwyk, 73, 1415 Irene street, died Saturday at a hospital after a brief illness.

Mrs. VanSteenwyk was born November 4, 1882, at DesMoines. She was married to Abram VanSteenwyk at Orange City, Ia., March 15, 1909. They resided at LeMars, Ia., before coming to Sioux City 13 years ago. She was a member of Glendale Baptist church and the Aid society of that church.

Survivors besides the widower are two daughters, Mrs. Ella Carley of Sioux City, and Mrs. Mae Schoep of Hinton, Ia.; three brothers, John Vandermeer of Los Angeles, Cal., Albert Vandermeer of New York City, and Dowd Vandermeer of Sioux City; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Albert of LeMars and Mrs. Mamie Hipple of Davenport, Ia.; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

The body was taken to the Nelson-Berger north side funeral home.

Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Van Steenwyk, 73, 1415 Irene street, who died Saturday at a hospital after a short illness, will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Glendale Baptist Church. Rev. S. D. Huff will officiate and burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery under directions of the north side Nelson-Berger funeral home.

Pallbearers will be R. W. Whitehouse, Roy Blanchard, J. D. Tindall, Garrett Van Steenwyk, Jacob DeVries and Elgin Foster. Frank Paul will be honorary pallbearer.
