Mrs. Murray, wife of George Murray, died at the family home, 300 Central Avenue NE, this city, at eleven o’clock Thursday morning, following an illness of two months. She had suffered from neuritis for some time.

Mrs. Murray was born at Hensall, Ontario, Canada, October 27, 1854, and spent her girlhood there. She was educated in Canada and engaged in school teaching for several years. Shortly after their marriage they came to this part of the country and located in Sherman township, Sioux county, where they bought land and developed a fine farm.

Mr. and Mrs. Murray retired from the farm in 1903, and came to Le Mars where they have since lived. Besides the bereaved husband she leaves a brother, Robert McLaren, and a sister, Mrs. William Dougall, living at the old home in Hensall, Ontario. A son, Cleveland Murray, died many years ago.

Mrs. Murray was a member of the Presbyterian church and was active in church and social circles. Mrs. Murray was highly esteemed in a large circle of friends and respected by all who knew her.

The funeral arrangements were not completed last evening as word is being awaited from relatives in Canada, who may wish to attend the last rites.
