Mrs. Harry Brunkhorst

Mrs. Harry (Lorraine) Brunkhorst, 47, rural Merrill, lifelong Plymouth county resident, died Tuesday evening at St. Joseph Mercy hospital, Sioux City, after an illness of several months.

Lorraine Kilker, the daughter of Mrs. Anna Kilker and the late William F. Kilker, was born Sept. 6, 1922, in Plymouth county. She married Harry Brunkhorst Jan. 4, 1943, at Columbia, S.C. Her mother was the former Anna Adden.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John American Lutheran church, Le mars. Rev. Arnold Imbrock and Rev. Paul Tobiason officiated and burial was in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Mauer funeral home in Le Mars.

Survivors are her husband, Harry, rural Merrill; a son, Warren B. Brunkhorst, Minneapolis, four daughters, Patricia, Carol, Karen and Diane, all at home; her mother, Mrs. Anna C. Kilker, Le Mars; two brothers, Robert and Edward, both of Le Mars, and a sister, Mrs. Ruth Behrens, Kingsley.

She was preceded in death by her father.
