Charlotte C. Wenzel

KINGSLEY, Iowa -- Charlotte C. Wenzel, 64, of Kingsley Tuesday, July 6, 1993, at a cottage on Little Spirit Lake of an apparent heart attack.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Kingsley United Methodist Church with the Rev. John Crosswhite officiating. Burial will be in the Kingsley. Vistation will be after 2 p.m. today, with the family present 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Dickison-Michaelson Funeral Home in Kingsley.

Mrs. Wenzel was born Feb. 21, 1929, in Le Mars the daughter of William and Cecilia (Singer) Schuldt. She lived west of Kingsley and attended rural schools. She married Verlyn Wenzel May 6, 1947, at Kingsley. The couple lived west of Kingsley for several years on a farm. She lived for a time in Spirit Lake and then returned returned to the Kingsley area.

Mrs. Wenzel was a member of te Veterans for Foreign Wars Auxiliary at Spirit Lake.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Eugene and his wife Danita; three daughters, Pauline; Rosie and her husband Tom and Roxie and her husband; Steve; a brother , William Schuldt; 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a son, Neal.
