Valerie Sue Gehrts

Valerie Sue Gehrts, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Eldean Gehrts died Monday, Oct. 28, 1974, at birth at a Sioux City hospital.

Graveside services were held at 3 p.m. Friday at Riverside Cemetery at Akron, Iowa, under direction of the Nelson-Berger Funeral Home in Morningside. The Rev. James R. Bjorge of Morningside Lutheran Church officiated.

Survivors in addition to the parents, include a sister Stacey Lynne at home; the grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Gaylen Gehrts of Sioux City; and Mr. and Mrs. E.O. "Bud" Johnson of Sioux City; the great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Gehrts of Holstein, Iowa; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Ewoldt of Holstein, and Mrs. Alma Milbrodt of Akron.
