SET RITES FRIDAY AT PLYMOUTH CHURCH FOR GEORGE FARA, 70
Funeral services for George Fara, 70, Akron, who died Tuesday night at his home, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the Plymouth Presbyterian church with Rev. Charles Kruse officiating.
Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Barnard funeral home. Hoeschler post of the American Legion will conduct graveside rites.
Mr. Fara was born Nov. 27, 1893, in Chicago. He came to Iowa in 1918. He served in world war 1.
He married Bessie Barker of Ireton, Nov. 27, 1930. He was a member of the Hoeschler post.
Survivors are the widow; three sons, Orland of Prairie City, James and John both at home; one daughter, Mary Ann, at home; two sisters, Mrs. Bessie Spears and Mrs. Shay, both of Chase, Mich; and three grand¬children.~Copyright © 1963; Floyd Valley News (Le Mars, Plymouth County, Iowa) of 10 October 1963
