Arnold R. Erickson

Arnold R. Erickson, 54, of Brush, Colo., and formerly of Akron, died Monday, April 25, 1994, at Brush of an apparent heart attack while working.

Graveside services were held Friday, April 29, 1994, at Riverside Cemetery in Akron with the Rev. Don Greenough of Wesley United Methodist Church of Akron officiating. Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron is in charge of arrangements.

Casketbearers were Terry Miller, Ardon, Terry Singer, Mark Olson, Ray Davidison and Don Vyhidal.

Mr. Erickson was born May 14, 1939, in Hudson, S.D., the son of Alvin and Delores (Hanson) Heredity Erickson. He attended schools in rural Alcestor, S.D., Akron and Westfield. He lived in several locations in Iowa and South Dakota before moving to Colorado in 1952. He had served two years in the U.S. Army.

Survivors include three sisters, Marie Kosbab of Rutland, N.D.; Winnie Forbes of Brush, Colo., and Frances and her husband, Bill Miller of Akron; a brother, Donald of Timmonsville, S.C.; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
