Uncle of Hawarden Men Dies at Age 83

George Doty, of LeMars, 83, an uncle of Ralph and Leo Doty of Hawarden, died Sunday morning in the LeMars hospital.

Funeral services were held yesterday. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Doty and Mrs. Leo Doty of Hawarden attended the services.

Mr. Doty at one time served as deputy sheriff of Plymouth county.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Clayton Gear of Sioux City and Mrs. Francis Carley of Marcus.
