MAURICE, Iowa -- Elijah Sanow, 2-year-old son of Del and Patricia Sanow of Maurice was dead on arrival at a hospital in Le Mars Sunday after an accident at the home of his grandparents in Struble.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Church of Christ in Le Mars. Norman Armstrong and Kendell Talbott will officiate. Burial will be in the Riverside Cemetery at Akron under the direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home of Le Mars.

Elijah was born April 15, 1981, in Le Mars.

Survivors include his parents; three brothers, Christopher, Cory and Tyler, all at home; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Sanow of Struble; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Wiersma of Sibley, and paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Carlson of Akron.
