Thursday Rites For A. H. Ewin.
Services for Arthur H. Ewin, 88 (sic 84 yrs old), of 723 S.E. Twelfth st., who died of lung cancer Monday at Broadlawns Polk County Hospital, after a month’s illness, will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery.

Mr. Ewin, a retired carnival worker, was born in Sterling (sic Marshall) County, Illinois, and had been a Des Moines resident 25 years.

Surviving are his wife, Ora G.; a daughter, Mrs. Iona Shepard of Des Moines; six grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren.

Arthur Howard Ewin – 1st Wife: Maude Mae Wilhite—Parents of two children. Unknown marriage date, however research has them together as early as 1917. Divorced in Iowa, June 1940.
Arthur Howard Ewin – 2nd Wife: Mrs. Ora G. Baker, nee’ Woodworth. Married 1940, no children. Married for 28 years until Art’s death in Nov. 1968.
