Note: Her mother's maiden name was Muir. I believe she was raised by her biological father was Alexander Mcclellan. I don't know if he died or they divorced. I believe she was raised by her step-father Adolph Metz. Her first name is Martha.

HOLD LAST RITES FOR AKRON WOMAN FRIDAY MORNING

Mrs. Frank J. Montagne Called By Death After An Extended Illness

Death called Mrs. Frank J. Montague, of this city on Monday evening, September 29, 1941, in a hospital in Omaha, Nebr., following an illness of two years, at the age of 51 years, 10 months and 2 days.

Mrs. Montagne, daughter of the late Mrs. Metz was born in Akron, Iowa, November 27, 1889, and spent her entire life in the Akron vicinity and attended the local schools. Before her marriage to Frank J. Montague on July 8, 1912, she was employed by the Akron Telephone Company and was manager of the local office for several years.

She leaves to mourn her loss, the widower, Frank J. Montagne; two daughters, Mrs. Martin Quintat of Sioux City; and Miss Dorothy Montague, of Omaha; two sons, Russell of Camp Wolters near Fort Worth, Texas; and Jack of Akron; two sisters Mrs. Dorothy Conway of Dakota City, Nebr.; and Mrs. Amelia Ross of Omaha; and six brothers, Ed, Lew, and Clarence Metz of Holstein, Iowa; Clifford and Royal Metz of Akron; John Metz of California.

Mrs. Montagne was possessed of a most pleasant personality and of a kind and sympathetic nature which endeared her to all her acquaintances. She was a splendid homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister; a valued friend and neighbor. She will be sincerely missed and mourned in the community in which she spent so many years

Funeral services were held last Friday mourning in St. Patrick's Catholic church, Rev. Father Chas Ernst officiating. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery here.

The Rossow Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Relatives from a distance were Pvt. Russell Montague, a son, from a son from Camp Wolters, Texas; Metz brothers from Holstein, Iowa, and several from Jefferson, S. D., and Sioux City.
