METZ--In Akron, Iowa, Tuesday, April 7, 1899 Monaill, the 31/2 year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Metz.

The little one was ill but a few days with stomach and bowel troubles and the sudden taking away of their loved one is a cruel blow to the parents, who have the entire sympathy of this community in their bereavement.

The funeral was held at the Catholic church yesterday afternoon, the service being conducted by Father Sullivan. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery.
