Obituaries--Mrs. Lambert Jeffers

Mrs. Lambert Jeffers, 67, of Akron, died Saturday, (Aug. 23, 1980) at the Akron hospital, following a brief illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Trinity Lutheran church in Akron with the Rev. Marvin Mueller officiating. Burial will be in the Plymouth Presbyterian cemetery, rural LeMars.

A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. Monday at the Schroeder funeral home in Akron.

Mrs. Jeffers, the former Merna Marcille Douglas, was born Dec. 11, 1912, at Algona. She married Lambert Jeffers March 20, 1930, at LeMars. She was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a member of the Senior Citizens club and a neighborhood club.

Survivors are her husband; two sons, Roger of Sioux City and Frank "Douglas" of Casper, Wyo.; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Ed (Thelma) Wearda of Webster City and Mrs. Walter (June) Lamoureux of Chapel, Neb.
