Life's End
FRANK E. JEFFERS OF AKRON DEAD; RITES SET SUNDAY

Funeral services for Frank E. Jeffers, 87, Akron, will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at Plymouth Presbyterian church, rural Akron. Rev. Charles Kruse will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of the Schroeder funeral home.

A prayer serice will be held at 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Mr. Jeffers died at Akron hospital Thursday after a lengthy illness. He had been at the nursing wing of the hospital for 5 1/2 years.

He was born Dec. 16, 1878, in Johnson township near Akron and (was a) resident in this community his entire life. His marriage to Maggie Burwell took place Dec. 17, 1902, in Johnson township.

The couple retired to Akron eight years ago and Mrs. Jeffers died in 1963. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Lillian Crow of Akron in 1964.

Survivors are two sons, Lambert of Elk Point and Daryl of Aurora, Colo.; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Miller of LeMars, Mrs. Charles Plueger of Brunsville and Mrs. Harry Thietje of Yakima, Wash; 25 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Anna Boyer, Vale, S. D.
