Her death occurred at the residence of another grandson, J. R. Jeffers, of Ruble, where she was staying on a visit. She passed away just after partaking of the noonday meal. She was in her usual good health and the first symptoms of anything wrong were noticed when she fell off the chair on which she was sitting. Her death was due to heart failure.

Mr. Jeffers died about sixteen years ago. They had eight children, two of whom survive, a son who took the name of C. J. Kinney, who resides at Rockford, Ill., and a daughter, Mrs. M. A. Moore of Beloit, Wis.
The funeral will be held this afternoon at the Johnson township Presbyterian church.
Mrs. B. A. Jeffers with whom the deceased made her home for the past twenty years was in Stockton, Ill., at the time and was notified and was expected home this morning in time to attend the funeral.
