Note: Through one of his son's obituaries wife's maiden name is Edden but I believe it is actually Eden. Not only was he survived by Ebo and Fred he was also survived by three other sons John, Gerhard, Siebelt and a daughter Gesche Margaret. He was preceded by a child in infancy according to his wife's obituary.

DEATH OF OLD RESIDENT

Jurgen Harms, of Grant Township, Passes Away

Jurgen Harms one of the old residents of Grant township, passed away at his home on Sunday night at the age of eighty three years.

He leaves a widow and two sons, Ed, and Fred Harms, and a number of other relatives to mourn his death.

Mr. Harms was a native of Germany where he was born on July 24, 1831. He was well known and highly respected by his neighbors in the community where he has lived for many years.

The funeral will be held on Thursday afternoon at the Lutheran church near which he lived in Grant township.
