MRS. BEN HARRISON
Mrs. Ben Harrison, 74, rural Moville, died Saturday night at a Sioux City hospital after a brief illness.
Funeral services will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Rustin Avenue United Methodist Church in Sioux City. The Rev. D. E. Cannaday, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be in Banner Township Cemetery at Lawton under direction of the McCulloch Funeral Home of Moville. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home at 7:30 tonight.
The former Clara Porsch, Mrs. Harrison was born April 8, 1897, near Kingsley, Iowa. She was a graduate of Sioux City (now Central) School in Sioux City and later taught school in Plymouth and Woodbury counties. She was married to Mr. Harrison Aug. 24, 1920, at Le Mars, Iowa. The couple resided on a farm near Moville the past 51 years. Mrs. Harrison was a member of Rustin Avenue United Methodist Church.
Survivors include the widower; a daughter, Mrs. Ray (Lois) Denham of Sioux City; two brothers, Leslie of Kingsley and Lloyd of Sioux City and a granddaughter.
