Orval Rees

Funeral for Orval Edward Rees, 75, Craig, Plymouth County native, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Robert Robinson will officiate and burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

The family will be present at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Friday.

Mr. Rees died unexpectedly at his home Sunday, Nov. 10, 1985. His body was discovered at noon Tuesday.

Mr. Rees was born Sept. 19, 1910, in Elgin Township, Plymouth County to William and Mathilda Detloff Rees. He was a farmer and retired in 1965. He was a member of Seney United Methodist Church.

Survivors are two sisters, Lila Rees of LeMars, and Mrs. John (Cleone) Dunne of Wilmer, Minn.; three brothers, Harold Rees of Mountain Lake, Minn., Melvin Rees of Luverne, Minn. and Wallace Rees of Rochester, N. Y. He was preceded in death by his parents.
