Fritz G. Luksan

Fritz G. Luksan, 63, route 1, Merrill, died unexpectedly Sunday at the home of his daughter at Commerce City, Colo. The couple had been visiting their family in Colorado.

Mr. Luksan was born July 19, 1905, in Le Mars, the son of the late Frank and Laura (Lang) Luksan. He was married June 29, 1948, to Aloaha Ernst at South Sioux City, Neb.

Mr. Luksan had lived his entire life in Lincoln township until moving to Merrill in 1959. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Lincoln township and Oelson-Halweg post, American Legion.

Funeral services are pending. Rev. Lowell Boettcher will officiate at last rites in Le Mars. The Luken-Johnson funeral home is in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are his wife, Aloaha of Merrill; a son, Donald Luksan, Le Mars; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Deanna) Graham, Commerce City; two brothers, Lawrence, Le Mars, and Herman, Merrill, and two sisters, Mrs. Doug (Irene) Baker, Merrill, and Mrs. Ed (Amanda) Roepke, Kingsley. He was preceded in death by his parents and two granddaughters
