Charlie E. Small

Charlie E. Small, 47, of Sioux City, died Friday, August 13, 1999, at a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church, with the Rev. David Morris officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery in Akron, Iowa. There will be no visitation. Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Small was born April 28, 1952, in Tyler, Minn., the son of Harley E. and Margaret L. (Hendricks) Small. He had been a resident of Sioux City since 1957.

He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and he enjoyed music and bicycling.

Survivors include his parents; two brothers and their wives; Kerry and Barbara, and Shawn and Randee, all of Sioux City; a sister and her husband, Sandy and Lynn Carlson of Merrill, Iowa; maternal grandparents, Charles and Jessie Hendricks of Chatsworth, Iowa; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harley Loren Small, and paternal grandparents.

Pallbearers will be Eric Carlson, Charles Johnson III, Dick, Andy, Sheldon, and Chuck Johnson, Dennis, Steven, Merle, and Mike Lowell.

Memorials may be directed to Wesley United Methodist Church.
