Mrs. Bruno Hartmann
AKRON, Iowa – Mrs. Bruno (Margaret) Hartmann, 98, of Akron, died Sunday in a nursing home at Akron.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Trinity Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert H. Kruempel will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. today in the Schroeder Funeral Home at Akron.
Mrs. Hartmann, the former Margaret Thielen, was born Oct. 28, 1882, in Sioux County, near Ireton.
She was married in April of 1902, at Tea, S.D. The couple made their home in the Harrisburg S.D. area, moving to the Akron area in 1920. Mr. Hartmann died in September of 1938.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Henry (Alice) Eichacker, Mrs. Henry ((Anne) Willer and Mrs. Ramon (Mickey) Jespersen, all of Akron; five sons, Rudolph, Gary and Ed, all of Akron, Ben of Evanston, Ill.; and Raymond of Boulder, Colo.; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
