HOLD RITES FOR A FORMER AKRON YOUNG WOMAN

Long Illness Fatal To Mrs. Francis Moul At Cleveland, Ohio

Mrs. Francis Moul, of Boone, Iowa, a former longtime Akron resident died June 20 at the Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Cleveland, Ohio, after an illness of several months, aged 24 years, 4 months and 22 days.

Mrs. Moul, the former Mary Louise McVay, was born January 29, 1948, in Akron. She was graduated from the University of South Dakota in June, 1966, and was a member of the OES.

Last August, Mr. and Mrs. Moul traveled to Jaipur, India where he studied under a Fulbright-Hays Scholarship. They returned to Iowa in November, after she became ill from a recurring kidney ailment.

She was preceded in death by her mother in July, 1951.

Survivors include the widower, a daughter, Jennifer Ann; her father and step-mother, Mr. and Mrs. James F. McVay, of Akron; two brothers, James V., of Minneapolis, and Robert, in the U. S., Navy in Italy; a sister, Mrs. Marlene Aitken, of Valdosta, Ga.; a step-brother, Douglas R. Gossard, of Sioux City, and a step-sister, Miss Mary Lynn Gossard, of Akron.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 25, at the Wesley Methodist church, Akron. The Rev. Don Roberts officiated. Vesper Chapter, No.61, Order of Easter Star, provided a church service. Robert Hansen was vocalist and Mrs. Orin Harris was organist. Casket bearers were Wayne Seipp, Floyd Wilcox, Don Johnson, Arvel Lake, Chester R. Mason and Cyril Larsen. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
