Obituary-Clarence Warneke-Born 14 Feb 1897 Kingsley, IA-Died 18 Feb 1924, Kingsley, IA.

Services Today for Clarence (Valentine) Warneke-Clarence Warneke 78, of Kingsley died Tuesday, Feb 18, at Colonial Manor in Kingsley.

Funeral services will be held Feb 20, at St. Michael's Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Casket bearers will be Messrs. Tom O"Keefe, Rex Weinreich, Roy Schuler, Carel Connor, Robert Mockler and Donald Vondrak.
Mr. Warneke was born the son of August and Elizabeth (Kimm) Warneke on Feb 14, 1897 at Kingsley. He was a lifetime resident of the community and farmed noth of Kingsley most of his life. He retired in 1966.
He married Margaret Sitzman Feb 14, 1924 at Neptune.
Survivors include: the widow, a son, "Pudge" of Los Angeles, a daughter, Mrs Melva March of Kingsley; two sisters, Mrs Earl (emma) Schammel of Lewistown, MT; and Mrs Ed (Florence) Wink of Kingsley; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
