Death Comes to Chas Richards
Of Brunsville
Long Time Resident Of Plymouth County Succumbs To Heart Trouble
Former Mayor Of Town
Was Engaged In Road Work Of Late Years

Charles Richards, 65, or Brunsville, well known resident of Plymouth county for many years, died Thursday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Ed Dirks, in Akron. His death was ascribed to heart trouble. Mr. Richards had been ailing for some weeks during the summer but his condition was not regarded as dangerous until a week ago, when he was take seriously ill.
Mr. Richards lived in the county since boyhood and was widely known He was active in business and in community life. Mr. Richards served as mayor while living there and was a popular official. He was interested in legitimate sports and athletics.
Of late years he was employed by the county in road building and maintenance and was foreman of a crew.
When he was a young man he was united in marriage with Elena [Dolena] McInnis, of Johnson township.
He is survived by his wife and children who are Kenneth Richards, of Cleveland, Ohio; Mrs. Ed Dirks, of Akron, Mrs. Chris Lendt, of Ireton; Mrs. Robert Featherston, of Sioux City, and Will Richards at home.

Funeral On Sunday

The funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at the Plymouth Presbyterian church at Crathorne, Rev. W. E. Smith officiating, and interment made in the Crathorne cemetery.
