Sandra "Sandy" Katherine Yoerger, 75, of Cabot, formerly of Hinton, Iowa, passed away on October 31, 2016, surrounded by her family at home.

She was born on March 30, 1941 in Sioux City, Iowa to the late Harold and Mable (Angove) Beaulieu. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law; Cynthia Yoerger.

Sandy grew up on the family farm in Hinton, Iowa. She attended grade school at Liberty and graduated from Heelan High School. On November 28, 1959, Sandy was united in marriage to Larry Yoerger. To this union two sons and three daughters were born. Sandy began her career at the county attorney's office in Sioux City until 1980 when her family moved to Cabot, Arkansas and Sandy remained working at The Furniture Store in Cabot as her health allowed.

Sandy was a member of St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church and the Ladies of the Knights of Columbus.She enjoyed golfing, cooking for her family and most of all enjoying her grandkids and great-grandkids.

Survivors include her husband, two sons, three daughters, four brothers, seventeen grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 a.m., Friday, November 4, 2016 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with Rosary at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Moore’s Jacksonville Funeral Home & Crematory.

Graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, November 7, 2016 in St. Joseph Cemetery, Ellendale, Iowa with Father Don Ries officiating. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., with Vigil service at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, November 6, 2016, at Meyer Brothers Colonial Chapel in Sioux City, Iowa.
