Lloyd Norton

Lloyd Norton, 61, of Le Mars died Sunday (April 20, 1980) at University hospital in Iowa City after a lengthy illness.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Luken-Johnson funeral home in Le Mars. Rev. Edward Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial cemetery in Le Mars.

Mr. Norton was born Aug. 4, 1918, to E. D. and Fayetta Fletcher Norton in Le Mars. He was an auto mechanic and carpenter. He was a longtime Le Mars resident.

Survivors are two sons, David and John, both of Los Angeles; four daughters, Mrs. Patti Mulhauser of Vancouver, Wash., and Mrs. Brian (Vicki) Zillly, Mrs. Mike (Jackie) of Sioux City and Herb of Loveland, Colo.; a sister, Mrs. Eugene (Marge) Braun of Denver; and 12 grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and two sisters.
